Description

It is a short narrative game about the struggle of modern food shopping.

You play as a shopper who gets to test a new-tech product, TrueView TM glasses. The glasses reveal hidden truths about products you see on the shelves: greenwashing, ethical concerns, and corporate tricks. Navigate a familiar grocery aisle and discover how hard it can be to make the most ethical choices—and how awareness can still spark change.

As a consumer, you are bound to make mistakes, but this is not a game about being perfect. It’s a game about seeing clearly, starting small, and imagining a better world—one choice at a time.

The game was created as part of the Day Zero Games: Solarpunk Jam. The game focuses on the issue of frustrating shopping, false advertising, and greenwashing in food products. The game´s narrative follows UN Sustainable Development Goal 12, "Sustainable consumption". The future we imagined in the game highlights ethical consumption that is driven by the laws of supply and demand, which drives ethical production.
